After the weekly briefing this morning the Communication Technology 2 (Comm Tech 2) brief is much clearer to me. My work is based around illustration, and for this brief I want to set myself small tasks/briefs based on:
1. Learning how to use the resources around college more effectively
- Last year I did not use many resources (e.g print room) because I feel did not have the confidence to use them and to ask for help. After this brief I want to feel I have the learnt the skills to use them whenever I want.
2. Exploring how to take my illustration skills further
- I enjoy drawing, but I would like to learn some new skills which would help me to expand my abilities and express them in different ways (such as printmaking)
3. Improving my basic knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
4. Spending more time drawing
- And hopefully become a quicker worker from this (I will post a selection of work from my sketchbook onto my blog)
